People Helping Pets - Debra B

People for Pets, Magic Valley Humane Society has been helping the Magic Valley since 1998 care for their unwanted pets. A crucial part of helping pets in our community is having the community help us, be it fundraising for cash or donations of food and toys, these are all important to our ability to care for dogs and cats. We have been beyond grateful to Subaru of Twin Falls for continually offering their support by providing monetary donations for our medical funds and donating to us many, MANY bags of food for our Pet Food Pantry Program. This is so important to us because donations, especially for the Pet Food Pantry Program, helps our community in times of need be able to keep their pets with them. Here at People for Pets we believe that people at any point in their lives, deserve the comfort of having a pet to love. So, thank you again Subaru for helping us out so that we can continue to serve the Magic Valley!

Mountain Humane x Subaru Adopter Story: Gomer - Makayla C

Gomer was adopted at the Subaru Adoption event (sponsored by Twin Falls Subaru) after his owners hear of the event, this is his story: "After the Subaru event, we decided to change his name to Milo. Milo has been a great addition to our family. He is so sweet and loves to go on all our adventures. He helps me bring the boys to school every day and pick them up. Milo loves to go fishing with us, on bike rides, and chase toys in the backyard. He is doing great in the kennel, on the leash, loves people, and stays close whenever we are. Here are some pics. We love him so much and are so happy we came down after hearing about the adoption event you guys were putting on with Subaru."

Mountain Humane x Subaru Adopter Story: Rainey - Makayla C

Rainey was adopted at the Subaru Adoption Event (with Twin Falls Subaru Dealership) at Mountain Humane after the adopters heard word of the event, this is her story. "Rainey has brought us so much joy! She turns even the most boring of quarantine days into a day of adventure and life. She has helped us explore the neighborhood of our new house in Boise and meet new friends down at the dog park. Even on the coldest of Fall morning walks, Rainey has brought perspective on just how lucky we are to be healthy, active, and surrounded by family. Thank you to everyone at Mountain Humane who helped us find our best friend at the Subaru Adoption Event; we're so glad we came down! Now, if only she would stop eating our shoes! Here are some pictures of Rainey helping with the outside garden, taking an afternoon siesta, and enjoying the attention of a glamour shot. Three of her favorite things to do."

Sleep in Heavenly Peace - Luke M

It takes a community to bond together to improve the lives of our neighbors and in our case, the sleeping arrangements of our little kiddos. Twin Falls Subaru is one company that understands and cares about the needs of their community. During these stressful times of Covid, nonprofits are finding it more and more difficult to receive support. Companies are hurting, families are struggling, and social distancing has created an unwanted distance within our community, but its companies like Twin Falls Subaru that despite difficult times, will do their best to put community first. Their donation will get nearly 10 kiddos off the floor and into beds for many years. What better way to help the community than provide the best possible life for our young ones. Thank you, Twin Falls Subaru, for your generosity and willing heart to help us see that No Kid Sleeps on the Floor in Our Town.

Twin Falls Senior Center - Barbara M

The Twin Falls Senior Center is the recipient of a generous donation from Twin Falls Subaru. We are truly grateful for the generosity of Subaru for supporting our organization and the senior citizens of Twin Falls County. With this donation we will be able to continue feeding the seniors in our community through our Meals on Wheels program. The Covid-19 pandemic has created a hardship for many seniors in our community- causing isolation, health concerns, financial strain, and concerns about where the next meal might come from. Our Meals on Wheels program helps to provide a warm and nutritious meal to those seniors in our community who qualify for the program. It allows many seniors to live independently at home for much longer and to maintain a healthier lifestyle. During this pandemic we have increased the number of seniors on the program by 5-20 clients each month. The need is real! So, we are forever grateful for your generous donation. You are providing the community with a much-needed gift at this devastating time in all our lives. Thanks again for helping to feed our seniors.
