The 2026 Subaru Trailseeker's Sexy Interior

If you are ready for the efficient, silent, smooth, and emissions-free operation of an EV, a new Subaru vehicle is coming. If you find the Solterra a bit too small for your needs, Subaru is prepared for you with the all-new 2026 Trailseeker EV. In short, Subaru has taken all the great updates coming in the 2026 Solterra, added a few enhancements, and packed them into a longer and taller vehicle, giving you just the space you need. Twin Falls Subaru provides you with the currently available details for this new model, expected to go on-sale about a year from now.

The Roaring Rear Exterior Of The Sleek 2026 Subaru Trailseeker

The Trailseeker is six inches longer than the Solterra and about an inch taller. The upright D-pillars further enhance cargo space, and standard roof rails are available if additional space is needed. Like the Solterra, the Trailseeker will come standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, featuring one motor placed between the front wheels and another between the rear wheels. Together, the motors will generate approximately 375 horsepower, resulting in a 0-60 mph time of just 4.4 seconds and a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.

With energy stored in a 74.7-kWh battery, the Trailseeker is expected to have a range of 260 miles. Like the upcoming Solterra, the Trailseeker will use a North American Charging System (NACS) port, which is compatible with Tesla superchargers. An adapter will allow the use of CCS-compatible public chargers and CCS Level 2 home chargers. The Trailseeker will be equipped with a battery pre-conditioning system. When approaching a public charger as indicated by the navigation system, this system will bring the battery to its optimum charging temperature, resulting in an expected DC direct charge time of 10% to 80% in under 35 minutes.

The symmetrical all-wheel-drive system is accompanied by the X-MODE Dual-Mode System, which features specific Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes. This system also includes Grip Control and Downhill Assist Control, along with a best-in-class 8.3-inch ground clearance, making it a capable off-road companion.

The spacious cabin features a 14.0-inch multimedia touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual 15W wireless smartphone chargers and two fast USB-C chargers for rear passengers are also on-hand.

Like the 2026 Solterra, the Trailseeker comes standard with an enhanced EyeSight® suite of safety and driver assist technologies, which include:

  • Pre-Collision Braking
  • Front Cross Traffic Alert
  • Blind Spot Monitor
  • Lane Departure Alert
  • Panoramic view monitor
  • Emergency Stop Assist
  • Traffic Jam Assist
  • Lane Change Assist
  • Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control

The Trailseeker shares the 2026 Solterra’s new lighting signature with six-point LED daytime running lights, each representing the six stars of the Subaru Logo, which is also illuminated in the grille-less front. The profile is sleek and graceful and features 18- or 20-inch wheels, depending on trim. Further back, a three-dimensional SUBARU logo and rear gate garnish also bring a distinctive light signature to the rear.

The all-new Trailseeker is expected to arrive in the Twin Falls Subaru showroom and inventory in early 2026. More trim-level information, detailed specifications, and pricing can be anticipated closer to its on-sale date.
