Subaru Share the Love Event Raises a Record $31.7 million
In its advertising and other communications, Subaru consistently informs you that it is More Than a Car Company®, and backs that up with the Subaru Love Promise. Backing it up further with actual numbers, Twin Falls Subaru is proud to announce that the 2024 Subaru Share the Love® Event raised $31.7 million in donations, which is its highest contribution in company history. Adding to previous events, the Subaru Share the Love Event has brought in a total of nearly $320 million across its 17 years.
Subaru recognizes that it isn’t the only auto manufacturer that gives to charitable causes, but it is unique in how it brings its retailers and customers into the process. During the event, customers who purchase or lease a new Subaru can choose among four national charity partners or local charities selected by their dealership. The majority of donations go to local charitable organizations, with over $23 million going to over 830 hometown charities in the areas where Subaru customers live.
“Ensuring that our annual Share the Love Event is a success requires true collaboration and teamwork toward a worthy cause. This past year’s record-breaking initiative achieved far more than just raising funds for deserving organizations – it helped spread love and support in meaningful ways. None of this would be possible without the incredible dedication of our retailers, customers, and employees, whose shared values made 2024 an impactful and memorable year for communities nationwide.” – Jeff Walters, President and Chief Operating Officer, Subaru of America, Inc.
The annual Subaru Share the Love Event began in 2008. It occurs in the final months of each year, including the holidays. For 2024, the event began on November 21, 2024, and lasted through January 2, 2025. During this time, Subaru and its retailers donated a minimum of $300 to charity for any new vehicle purchased or leased at any participating retailer around the country.
Subaru has established partnerships with well-known national charities, including:

- Make-A-Wish®
- Meals on Wheels America
- National Park Foundation
