In 2026, Subaru will enter Uncharted territory with an all-new electric crossover made for adventures that go further. It is the newest member of our EV family and is ready to take you anywhere you want to go.
Arriving early in 2026, the new Subaru Uncharted electric crossover will give customers an excellent choice in a smaller, sportier vehicle capable of going off the highway while delivering great range, traction, and performance. This innovative EV comes with a very cool design inside and out that encourages you to have fun behind the wheel.
The performance story starts with a 221-horsepower single motor model that is available on the Premium trim level. This is a great option for those who would rather tool around town. This motor is fed through a 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery pack. The front-wheel drive single motor model is estimated to return over 300 miles of range.
The Sport and GT models are powered by a two-motor set-up, which has plenty of power with 338 horsepower on tap. It is estimated to reach around 0-60 MPH in around five seconds. The dual motor 2026 Uncharted is also fed through a 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery pack. It is anticipated to yield a range of 290 miles.
Models with dual motors come with the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, putting down traction on any surface. In addition, the X-MODE system adds more traction options when the weather or the terrain changes. Expect superb straight-line performance no matter where you go.
The 2026 Uncharted is charged through a NACS port rated up to 150-kilowatts. The standard NACS charge port enables you to utilize more than 15,000 Tesla Supercharger stations. When the weather gets colder, the 2026 Uncharted can recharge from 10-80% battery capacity in nearly 30 minutes, thanks to an onboard battery preconditioning system. You can also recharge your 2026 Uncharted at home through either a level 1 or 2 connection through an 11-kilowatt onboard charger.
The 2026 Uncharted is also maneuverable, measuring seven inches shorter than the Solterra EV. It also has a turning radius similar to the Crosstrek, which makes getting around tight turns quite an easy chore. The suspension system balances the rough spots with smooth delivery over any piece of road – no matter what the road is made of.
The beauty of the 2026 Uncharted is in its sleek fastback-like design. This is aided by a smooth underfloor where the battery pack resides. Yet, plenty of aerodynamic design elements have been made to let the Uncharted slip through the air without any disturbance in the way it drives. These elements are melded into a clean, sporty silhouette that is further distinguished with signature LED lighting units front and back. That includes the illuminated six-star logo. Further details include black badging, a high beltline, and a seamless rear fastback-like design with a silver painted lower fascia.
On GT models, a two-tone roof enhances its sporty design. Up top, there are low-profile roof rails for additional cargo management. Depending on the trim level, the 2026 Uncharted will wear a set of 18- or 20-inch wheels with distinctive designs.
You are invited to step inside an airy and spacious cabin made for enjoying the journey. Sharp horizontal lines and orange interior elements make for an inviting cabin. The materials are soft to the touch, and SofTex upholstery adorns the 2026 Uncharted Sport and GT seats. The rear seat room and outboard heated positions on the GT trim level are made for year-round comfort. They also get a panoramic moonroof with a motorized shade for a great view of the sky above, and plenty of space for everything to take along, with around 25 cubic feet of cargo volume.
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted offers a level of technology that engages, informs, and keeps you safe. It starts with a 14-inch center infotainment touchscreen that serves as a hub for all connectivity and information. It offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. You can charge your devices through dual USB-C chargers and dual wireless chargers inside the center console. GT models add a Harmon Kardon premium audio system for excellent music playback.
When it comes to safety, the 2026 Uncharted is equipped with EyeSight driver assistance technologies. This suite of features is designed to keep you and your passengers safe from harm. These features include Pre-Collision Braking, Front Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Monitors, Lane Departure Alert, Emergency Stop Assist, and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control. Some trim levels on the 2026 Uncharted also include a panoramic view monitor, Traffic Jam Assist, and Lane Change Assist. One key feature you will find on the 2026 Uncharted is the DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System. It alerts you when your eyes are not on the road for a short period of time.
