When you see a Subaru, what color should it be? Fans of Subaru Motorsports know that WR Blue Pearl is an iconic paint finish for Subaru Rally Vehicles. The easily recognizable hue speaks to its owner’s enthusiasm for the brand and what goes into each performance-tuned WRX or BRZ. It is an inspirational color in its own right.

What if we told you that while blue is definitely a fan favorite, yellow will quickly be turning heads this year? Sunrise Yellow, to be exact. Yellow instantly catches your eye. It is bright enough to draw your attention and keep it focused on the vehicle. When it drives off, you simply cannot ignore it.

For 2026, Subaru introduces two special edition models painted in this bright Sunrise Yellow color. The Series.Yellow line is available in the WRX and BRZ, each limited to just 350 examples.

Based on the tS trim – which stands for “tuned by Subaru Technica International” – the 2026 BRZ.Yellow and WRX Series.Yellow models reintroduce the Sunrise Yellow paint color, once seen on select models dating back over 10 years ago. While retaining a lot of the mechanical and suspension components seen on the BRZ and WRX tS models, the Series.Yellow editions add exclusive touches inside, switching the signature blue trim and stitching to yellow. While the color is different, it is what makes each Series.Yellow stand out in any crowd.

On the 2026 WRX Series.Yellow, the main attraction is the 271-horsepower turbocharged 2.4-liter BOXER engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Combined, this instills a level of excitement that engages the driver through every gear change and turn of the wheel.

Keeping the 2026 WRX Series.Yellow lively are electronically controlled, adjustable dampers, developed by Subaru Technica International. They keep the Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires, mounted on 19-inch matte black alloy wheels, planted firmly on the ground. A set of Brembo brakes ensure that this yellow machine stops quicker in any situation.

Also seen on the 2026 WRX Series.Yellow is a digital suite that engages the driver, including a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster and an 11.6-inch Multimedia infotainment touchscreen. They are controlled from the Recaro Performance Design front seats.

The 2026 BRZ Series.Yellow is an honest sports coupe. It is powered by a 228-horsepower 2.4-liter naturally aspirated BOXER engine, coupled to a six-speed manual transmission with performance-inducing rear-wheel drive. Keeping the BRZ on the road is a set of Hitachi dampers tuned by Subaru Technica International, while riding on a set of 18-inch matte black alloy wheels mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. The 2026 BRZ Series.Yellow also gets the stopping power of Brembo brakes.
