Are You Ready For The New 2026 Subaru Outback?

Southern Idaho’s favorite Subaru has been transformed into a more accommodating SUV that is equipped with more technology and driver assistance features than ever. The all-new 2026 Subaru Outback is arriving at Twin Falls Subaru. We know you cannot wait to see how this very popular model has been transformed.
The new model will come in six trim levels – including the Wilderness model. You have a choice between a 180-horsepower 2.5-liter BOXER four-cylinder engine or the 260-horsepower turbocharged 2.4-liter BOXER engine. All 2026 Outbacks are equipped with the Lineartronic continuously variable transmission and Symmetrical all-wheel drive.
Updates start with a larger body that is bold and beautiful. The front clip is broader with a stronger presence. The roofline is raised by a couple of inches, while retaining an 8.7-inch ground clearance on all models except for the Wilderness. The roofline is more squared off for both visual and practical purposes. The new LED taillight signature frames a rear end like no other seen on a Subaru in decades.

Inside is also all new. The Subaru Multimedia infotainment system is now housed in a 12.1-inch diagonal screen with a landscape orientation. It includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for further connectivity. All models receive a 12.3-inch full digital gauge cluster providing clearer information overall.
The new infotainment touchscreen enabled Subaru to break out the climate controls onto its own display. The controls are touch capacitive hard buttons and knobs providing a tactile feel for the driver. Also, you will find more sustainability inside, with a headliner made from recycled plastic bottles. Not to mention, there are now cupholders that can fit a 32-ounce water bottle.
The EyeSight Driver Assistance Technology suite has been upgraded with a new set of cameras and additional features never seen on an Outback. The Wide-Angle EyeSight Camera now has a 180-degree field of vision to scan for obstacles on the road ahead. The DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System is now standard on all 2026 Outback models.
The 2026 Outback Wilderness adds more features and presence to heighten your search for adventure. The new specific grille texture is even bolder, along with new Anodized Copper trim all around. The ground clearance is increased to 9.5 inches, and it continues to ride on 17-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires. You can switch on the X-MODE Dual-Mode System for better traction and adjust the dampers electronically for a better ride on rougher surfaces.

The 2026 Outback will be available in Premium, Limited, Touring, Limited XT, Touring XT, and Wilderness trim levels. Pricing will start from an MSRP of $34,995.
After 30 years and three million vehicles sold, the new 2026 Outback is ready to take you on to new adventures across the Rockies and beyond. To check out the 2026 Outback, contact us at Twin Falls Subaru to get better acquainted with this new chapter of our legendary popular SUV.
