Subaru Recognized by Forbes as One of America’s Best Brands For Social Impact

Forbes validated that Subaru’s term “More than a Car Company” is no mere tagline by announcing that Subaru of America was named one of the top brands on Forbes’ list of Best Brands for Social Impact. Subaru is also the number one brand on the list from the automotive category.
This is the first ever list of this kind for Forbes. To create it, they partnered with the business consulting firm HundredX. Together, they surveyed more than 100,000 consumers and had them rank brands they rated most highly in four categories:
- Overall brand values and trust
- Social stances
- Sustainability
- Community support.
The survey turned in close to four million ratings, with over 2,000 brands mentioned. It revealed which brands are most admired for doing good across sectors such as the environment, social issues, and supporting their local communities. Subaru placed among the top six in all four of the categories in the survey.

It Starts With the Subaru Love Promise
The Subaru Love Promise is the vision that guides the company and its retailers in making the world a better place. Its five branches of focus include:

- Subaru Loves Learning
- Subaru Loves Pets
- Subaru Loves to Help
- Subaru Loves to Care
To carry out these endeavors, Subaru partners with numerous national and local organizations, the best known of which include The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®), Make-A-Wish®, Meals on Wheels America, and the National Park Foundation.
Survey feedback indicated that respondents not only thought that Subaru produced well-made, durable vehicles, but they are aware of and appreciate what the automaker does for good causes on both a national and local scale. Subaru encourages its retailers to partner with it in these efforts through contributions, volunteer work, and identifying local needs. Twin Falls Subaru has received the 2023 Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment Award, which recognizes Subaru retailers for their involvement in the Subaru Love Promise programs.
