Twin Falls Subaru will be welcoming two new electric SUV/crossover models to our lineup this year. They are part of a growing family based on the Solterra, with two different missions. The 2026 Trailseeker and Uncharted offer a choice between two battery-electric models designed to deliver an experience rooted in adventure. Let’s explore the difference between these two new additions to our lineup.

First, we start with the 2026 Trailseeker. Compared to the Solterra, it is a larger SUV designed to expand room for both passengers and cargo. The advantage is measured at six inches longer and an inch taller. You can load up to 32.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second row of seats.

A powerful 375-horsepower dual-motor setup offers Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with X-MODE on all models. This is fed from a 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery that is recharged through a NACS (North American Charging Standard) plug. The battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% state of charge in 28 minutes at a rate of up to 150-kilowatts on a DC Fast Charger. The 2026 Trailseeker is rated for a range of 280 on a full battery. It is also the quickest Subaru ever sold in the U.S., with a 0-60 MPH time of 4.4 seconds. You can tow up to 3,500 pounds, as well. The 2026 Trailseeker is available in three trim levels – Premium, Limited, and Touring.

2026 Subaru Uncharted Driving Passenger Side Profile

In the 2026 Uncharted, you have a more compact electric crossover with a coupe-like roofline. It is a smaller vehicle, measuring seven inches shorter than the Solterra, with more than 25 cubic feet of cargo space available behind the second row of seats.

Unlike the Trailseeker, you do have a choice between a 221-horsepower single-motor version with the drive unit at the front axle and a 338-horsepower dual-motor setup with Symmetrical all-wheel drive and X-MODE. Both drive options are recharged via their NACS ports into a 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery. The single-motor model has a rated range of 300 miles, while dual-motor models are rated at 285 miles. The 2026 Uncharted is available in three trim levels: Premium FWD, Sport, and GT.

While there are plenty of differences between the 2026 Trailseeker and Uncharted, there are also plenty of similarities. Both offer a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen, as well as a battery preconditioning system that enables cold-weather charging at up to 150 kilowatts.

Both vehicles are coming soon to Twin Falls Subaru. If you are interested in these two electric adventure machines, contact us to schedule a tour. We can help you make the right decision about which one to take home.
